Dr. Rebecca Taulbee has been a registered nurse since 1989. She is an ADN graduate from Waubonsee Community College and a BSN graduate from Phoenix University. She completed her MSN and MBA degrees at the University of Phoenix and earned her Doctorate in Education degree - EdD from Northcentral University. Dr. Taulbee’s specialty is critical care and she has worked in multiple roles as Critical Care Float RN; Heart Transplant Pre-Op and Post Op; +CCU; CVICU; ICU; Cardiac Step Down; Cardiac Nurse Educator; Charge Nurse; and Flight Nurse.  She has also held academic teaching roles as an Assistant Professor at Chamberlain University Pre-licensure program, Assistant Director of Nursing at Hondros College of Nursing, and Clinical Educator at Central Ohio Technical College and Columbus State Community College. 

Currently Dr. Taulbee is working at Mount Carmel Health System as a Clinical Educator teaching Basic ECG, Basic 12-Lead ECG Interpretation, Cardiovascular Nursing, and Evidence-Based practice for the Nurse Residency Program. Because of her love of academics, she is also a part-time Professor for Purdue University Global in the DNP program and a Visiting Professor for Advanced Research Methodology, Quality & Safety, and Nursing Informatics at Chamberlain University MSN Program.  Throughout her career, her many awards include a DAISY Faculty Award 2016 Chamberlain University,  finalist for Ohio Nurse of the Year 2017 in the category of Research by March of Dimes, Nursing Excellence Award 2001-2004, and a nominee for the 2020 Sisters of the Holy Cross Award. 
Dr. Taulbee is a member of the American Nurses Association of Critical-Care Nurses, American Nurses Association; Ohio Nurses Association, Mid-Ohio Nurses Association (elected officeholder), National League for Nursing, and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
